Dr Javier Perez Fernandez

Javier Perez Fernandez is the Medical Director of Critical Care Services at the Baptist Hospital of Miami. Dr Perez Fernandez was elected to serve as President-Elect in August 2023 and assumed the Presidency at the 17th World Congress in Vancouver in September 2025. He will lead the organisation until 2027. Dr Perez Fernandez manages a large group of critical care physicians, Intensive Care Solutions and through this organisation he has brought comprehensive Critical Care Medicine to 10 hospitals in South Florida involving more than 15 ICUs and over 550 beds. He continues his clinical practice combined with education as an Associate Clinical Professor of Medicine at Florida International University, Herbert Wertheim College of Medicine.
